its a decent mixtape not good or bad but i did expected more out of it since the title clearly says dance floor on fire. i used to dj in the past and my reccomendation is to mix songs you could actually dance to. some of the songs are cool, try to switch the beat of the songs dont make it all the same beat. it just gets boring after listening to it 10 min later. i think you could do a better job. btw nice car!

thanks for the input. i kno some of the beats were kinda long until the words in the song kicked in but take into consideration this wasn't a acid mixtape (NOT done on the computer) & the mixing was all done live using turntables.

& thanks for the comment bout the car also.

yeah i would need a track list as well if it isn't too much to ask. I like to organize my itunes lol. good stuff though i like it

i used to dj as well but I stopped shortly after i began because it was getting in the way of soccer for me, i mess around with my system here and there, but i need new subs for my speaker boxes cause they all are blown. lol they are old, from the 70's and 80's. most of my set up is from that era, some of it is my dads from when he dj'd and he was very good, but most of his stuff was stolen when he was younger

DJing with a computer is not DJing...unless you are using Serato or Traktor Scratch. MUST HAVE HAND ON WAX!

Nice work Nismo. I kind of retired my decks. Last projects I was spinning heavy drum and bass in Philly under the name The Architects with my boy DJ Vylence. Im more a turntablist DJ so he would lay beats while I was cutting or mixing in old school/classic hip hop samples. You can also find some of my work with the band Daylow from a few years back on iTunesas well, just search Daylow in the iStore. Scratches, samples, there is even a track called Ill Regular where I was driving the whole beat with a juggled sample. Check it!

Oh I thought you were just messing with a computer mixing program or something, my bad. At least we both know how to keep it real!

What set-up do you have? I have Tech 12s with Ortofon Pro black needles, Rane TTM56 mixer, Traktor Scratch running on Dell XPS laptop. LOVE the Traktor Scratch, much better than Serato IMO.

My Dj Name Is DeViouS as you can see from my sig & the mixtape.

Serato is more the program i favor when it comes to using that laptops cause it doesnt do all that auto sync crap that alot djs like to use ------> which all in all is basically being a bullsh!t dj. so i totally agree if theres no wax involved then you my friend are what i call a push button dj lol :chuckle:

but as of now ima weekly club Dj in florida & when i travel to ny i also dj at the clubs over there. appreciate the feedback from every1 & its been bout 2months or so since i posted this. Glad to see that every1 getting to listen to it.

Heres a pic of my set up.

Good s*** homey, 4 channel mixer has to have something else running to i though, no? For the type of music you are putting down could step you up to a whole new level.

I didnt like Serato because of the display, Traktor Scratch a little more friendly for what I was using and had a fraction of the latency that Serato did. This was like 4 years ago though so I dont know where everyones product is at this point.

Whats the autosync you are talking about? Tell me it matches beats for you?....so lame. I hate DJs that even use a BPM counter, its cheating IMO, all new school cats that didnt know whats it like without the computer!

Damn this is making me want to spin again. One of the last shows I did with my band we had Rob Swift come out and do a set...AMAZING! He used my decks, infused some of his living legend onto them! Hopefully its still there!
