Whats up guys just put the new Works on the G. I bought these wheels from a member on driver and had the refinished and custom powdercoated. The color is the same as the Volk Mag Blue. Here are few quick shots from a mountain run we had this weekend. The car is real dirty but you can still see the wheels pretty good. I know it is something off the wall for a sedan but it is growing on me. What do you guys think?

I really like the blue. I considered this for my coupe, but I think it's a little too bold for me and the 19" forged rims.

May I ask how much you paid for the powder coat and how long it took?

Thanks for the comment. I am thinking of painting both the front and rear Fuji eblems blue to match the wheels.

I paid $500 to have the lips refinished and the face of the wheels to be powdercoated. I took the wheels apart my self.

Damn, those shocked the shi*t out of me when I scrolled down. It is very hard to pull off the Mag blue, especially on light silver. I'm not quite feeling those. Maybe they will grow on me and alot of wheels look better in person too. The old wheels were a nice touch. I don't know if you remember but we met @ Z days in 2007. I was on the hill washing my ride, brillant silver sedan that has gone through some changes as well. How's the FI setup treating you?

Yeah I remember you from Z days. Did you ever get the aero kit?

The FI is great!!! Just want more power now 400 just is not enough anymore. It is so addictive. Looking at doing a built block with nitrous on top of the turbo.

I know the wheels are way out there for a sedan but I was tied of the same old silver, black, or chrome wheels. Everywhere I looked that was all I saw. I really love the Volk Mag Blue TE37's and figuered what the hell. I got these Work VS-XX for a great deal but they needed to be refinished so I just had a guy match the Mag Blue to these. They are taking some getting used to but I am starting to come around to them.

Yes I got the aero kit installed later that year, best aesthetic mod for the 03-04 sedans. Unfortunately boost is very addictive and I know first hand. I would be quite happy with 400 whp in the G and plan to add some boost after it is paid for. You ride has come along way, good job. Any track times with the turbo setup?

Vey nice. Your car looks great. What kind of front lip spoiler is that? I like it. Vey well done.

You going to ZdayZ this year? If so we will have to hang out some on the mountain and rep the sedans!

Hi Again SoutherG35,

I commented on your car in the members rides area, again, I'm loving it with the wheels...

I saw you're earlier set, but I think this really sets this beast off. Did you ever run a 1/4 mile?

I know your trap was 8 something @91mph in the 1/8... just wondering.

Should be around 112-113 in the quarter with 91mph trap speed.

I think I will pass this year on Z days.
