Just got some circuit sports arms from the black friday sale.

Some of the welds just dont look right to me, maybe I am wrong I am pretty much a noob at these things. Ok....let the pics do the talking...

Toe arm questionable area...

Here are the RUCA's...seems like some one missed some of the powder coating and tried to cover up with a sharpie!!!!

I dont mind the powder coating much ( I can just touch it up myself) just wondering if these welds are strong and ok to be driven in....or should I sent them back?

any input would be great, thanks in advance

those look pretty bad quality welds. Not something i would want to put on my car hah. Maybe they would have that on one arm or one product, but for you to find flaws on two completely different pieces is ridiculous. Agree with him^^ send them back.

Yea, same here. I have the CS RUCA's, and the welds are 100x better than those (also, the Powder Coating is flawless). I think the parts you received didn't go through the quality control process due to some retard employee who messed up, and that's how you got it.

Thanks for the replies guys,

The first 3 pics were taken from one of the Rear Toe Links, the other one seems to be ok. The last 4 pics were taken from one of the RUCA's....i also did find one sharpie "fix" on the other arm but it didnt look as bad...

I really dont care much about cosmetics of these products due to their cheaper cost (still around 500 bucks) But what worries me is the strength of these welds. I would hate to have one of these guys fail on me.

Other than that the arms looks to be pretty beefy...i can even over look the booger welds....as long as they are strong....

more pics....

The package...

That is just centering on the rear toe, the support weld is on the other side. They problem is they never cleaned them up, looks like wire weld..... I dunno, probably okay to you, but if it were me I'd dig them out and tig them.

even though those welds dont look very good, i doubt you will ever have a problem. i recently took a metallurgy class and i was shocked to see how tough steel (even mild steel) really is. i wouldnt worry too much about it though. as long as there isnt a lot of undercut in the welds you will be fine.
