I've been lurking for a little over a week ever since I bought my 2013 AC 2.5S last month. I want to give my appreciation to the this site as it is chock full of useful information, especially the DIY section. I'm not big into performance mods as I have other interests to spend money on however, I will be making some cosmetic changes over time.

I do have a quick question that should be easily answered. I was looking at this link http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/altima ... stall.html to the radio install for the AC and the pictures are not showing. I just wanted to check to see if it was just my computer(s) or if anyone else has this issue. The written instructions are pretty straight forward, I just prefer having a visual reference is all.

Thanks!

Erik

:welcome:

I checked the link, but I'm a little confused about your problem.
The individual links for "MATERIALS NEEDED" open and display images correctly.
The "BYPASS your AVIC D3" link is for a different forum. You have to be a registered member of that forum to view their pictures.
There are no pictures to accompany the individual steps for the install. Would have been a nice addition, but none were posted.

Thank you for the welcome.

The link I posted is showing X's under some of the steps for removal. Not sure how else to explain it :/

It's no big deal. My plan is to vinyl the vents and radio cover plates and I would prefer to do it by taking off the cover plates. I searched for a "how to" and that was the best I could find. Again, it's no big deal, I'll fight through it :)

Sorry, you are quite right. I'm using Firefox, but it's not showing placeholders for the missing pictures. I checked it using Chrome, and they are indeed missing. I'll see if they can be restored, but it may take some time to fix (that's assuming the pictures are still around).

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. Another forum moderator was able to track down the original thread with pictures intact.

I appreciate the effort you guys put in to get the pictures up. I removed the bolts for the radio which exposed the two bolts that was holding the face plate to the radio. Remove those to bolts and the face plate pops out from the bottom. I bought some CF vinyl from auto zone and did the install. It looks good however, without the "adhesive" for the edges I have a feeling it is going to peel up. Considering the it was cheap vinyl I will order the 3M kit in a couple of weeks. If it will help anyone on the forum I can post up pictures for removing the face plate from the radio.

Next step is window tint :mike
