Post

im buying a coupe monday.
It has a single cam in it now but... blown headgasket.
Im wondering if i should fix the headgasket and run the single cam for a while or
if it would be just as cost effective to do a ka24de swap right off the bat?
The coupe has a hud and working ac, will those still be usable if i do a ka24de swap?

Essentially im asking if theres a thread that posts all the required parts and actions needed to do the ka24 swap.
Ive used the search and it hasnt helped.
Anyhelp?
thanks fellas.

i posted the same question in tech area before i found the ka forum. sorry for two threads.

If you fixed the SOHC how would it take you to save up for the DOHC swap? Can you afford to the do DOHC swap right now?
