Ok, well me and my friend jarrett made cooling panels. One for his coupe and one for my hatch. It turned out alright for only costing about ten dollars. On to some pictures...

I also have been doing some simplifying of my wire harness, and in doing so I realized that each coil pack's ground are joined into one tiny wire that is grounded to the back of the head... I suggest anyone with a sr to fix this. It takes all of twenty minutes. All I did was join all of them to a larger and thicker gauge wire and grounded it to the fire wall. Its definitely a noticeable difference in smoothness at idle and during acceleration...

On to my question about the input shaft bearing/ main drive bearing...I don't feel like paying $110 for said bearing. So if anyone has one laying around or a picture of one so I can get the stamping number off the side of it so I can cross reference it at NAPA and save a couple dollars I would greatly appreciate it.Here is a blow up image it is part number 32203... Thanks in advance.

your bay is clean. good work.

your wiring looks good. i approve

cooling panel needs work to be an effective duct. it leaves a lot of open space/gaps.

your coilpack ground making a large difference is quite simply due to bad grounding of your engine block to the chassis. ground your engine better and youd have NO issues :D

do not feel bad. many MANY people are not 100% thorough on their swaps, and overlook the basics.

recipe for success: reground, and win.

also, ditch that stupid 2 piece driveshaft. get a one piece. win.

Yeah, I want to get a one-piece. I believe the off balance carrier bearing is what caused the main drive bearing to fail in the first place. I will probably get one when I get a j30 diff.
