Just came across this Kia Stinger review and it sounds comparable to the Q50 in many ways (size, performance, price range, etc). Just curious what everyone's thoughts are and if they would consider this as an alternative/future vehicle. Sounds very promising on paper.

Not likely.
Parts from KIA are spotty (main manufacturing in SoKo) - and the ride quality is terrible. Tinny road noise and the seats are torture.
Go out and drive 'em both.

I haven’t driven one yet but considering the styling guy is from Audi and the performance engineer is from BMW this should be a great car. I’ve owned Hyundai’s and Kias for a long time and they have been the best cars I’ve owned. The suspension has always been the issue but I think they have that licked. Also look at the Genesis G70. More comparable to the q50 I’m terms of size.

Reliability rankings (Consumer Reports) for 2018 have Kia at #3 (Sprotage is least reliable) and Infiniti being at #7 (least reliable seems to be the Q50). My daughter has had a couple of Kia's and they have been OK in general with minimal problems but they seem to wear quickly (panel gaps, interior, etc.). While Infiniti initially loses a bunch of value they stabilize and over time retain much more value than a Kia....but you usually pay a premium for Infiniti anyway.
