New clutch, still have transmission noise

I did the 5 speed swap about 6 months ago but used a used clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. assembled everything, shifted good but made a nasty sandpaper on sandpaper noise, i figured it was cause i didnt resurface the flywheel, 2 days ago i got a new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, also new throw out bearing and pilot bushing, now the noise is still there, its also only in 1st through 3rd gear. im thinking somthing internally in the trans any idea??

First of all, shouldn't this be posted in a general 240 tech and not the vert forum?

Second, when's the last time you changed your gear oil?

Did you check your input and output shaft bearings?

Also check the center carrier bearing for your driveshaft.

nope i did'nt check i thought it was the old flywheel, but i was wrong. i hate to rip it out again cause it shifts great just makes that noise. Sorry for posting hear ever since i bought a vert last year i always post in the vert section.

I do the same thing, I don't care for the treatment I have gotten in the other sections!
