I installed a new clutch in my s13 after a friend of mine burnt out my old one...But it still smells like it is burning; i am going real easy on it and it's not slipping...Is this normal or is something wrong?

are you trying to drive it like you normally did before? clutches have a break in period where you should drive a bit like a granny till it's broken in.

As long as you resurfaced the flywheel when you installed the new clutch you should be fine. Break in period for a new clutch is roughly 500 miles.

It will probably smell while your braking it in. Your brakes do the same thing. When I put new pads and rotors on they smoked and smelled like sh*t for a few days. As long as it holds and you are taking it easy don't worry about it.
