Just had the clutch replaced in my 92 240sx, but it still feels like it is slipping in low and high gears. The clutch has been on for about 250-300 miles. Replaced the slave cylinder, flywheel resurfaced, new throw out bearing, clutch sleeve, rear main seal, input and output shaft seals. Master cylinder was replaced just a few months ago by the previous owner.

Gonna check the clutch pedal free play and probably take out the dampner box and bleed the system in a couple days.

Anything else you guys could think to check?

Who replaced the clutch? You or a professional shop? If you, did you get anything on the surface of the flywheel or clutch disc, like grease? If you paid someone to replace it, take it back to them. The items you mentioned replacing would not cause clutch slippage, nor would bleeding the slave cylinder. Is the clutch slipping or not engaging properly?

Did you break it in properly?

Ashop replaced the clutch. I have been really easy on the clutch since I got it back.

Not sure how to tell the difference between slipping or not engaging, this is what it does, when I am on the highway about 60 and I hit the gas the engine revs up and the speed barely goes up. If I press the gas slowly and very lightly it will accelerate a little better. Also when taking off from a stop the revs will get up real high.

your clutch disk is slipping, take it back to the shop that installed it. Something is wrong. Even with breakin or no breakin, it shouldnt be doing that. Make them fix it.
