new clutch question....

i test drove a 91 s13 hatch, new oem clutch was just installed by a shop and it felt a little weird. when i shifted and let out the clutch it seemed to come out slowly, even tho my foot was off the pedal, it didnt seem to pop back fast enough. the owner said it just needed to be adjusted??? how would you adjust a hydro clutch?? could it need to be bled?? im thinking of buying this car and would appreciate any help with this..thanks

Last time I checked they were self adjusting, but I could be wrong.

yeah the pedal, it just doesnt seem to pop back fast enough when you let off the clutch
