I swaped my old ka24de from my 93(RIP) in to my 89.I bought a new clutch with pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, slave, and master cylinder from auto zone plus I got my flywheel resurfaced. Now that every thing is installed the clutch is really easy to push down and it starts to slip from 3000 rpm and then it will catch at about 5500rpm. I have also removed the damper box. I thought there was air in the lines so I bleed the system about 20 times. Then I put my old slave, and master cylinder back on and bleed it about 15 times. Still it felt the same way. So I reinstalled my new slave, and master and bleed it again and still nothing. So far I have put about 150 miles on it. If I stay under 3000rpm no noise and no sliping. What else could it be.

breaking in the clutch takes longer than 150 miles.

So even though its new it will have weak pedel presser and slip? Its slips from about 3000 - 5500. So this will all go away after about 600 miles?

pressure is coming from probably a bubble in the system. The slip is probably from a non-broken in clutch.

how'd you bleed the lines? The soft pedal, what pressure plate are you using? The only other thing I can think of is how did you mount the fork onto the bearing carrier?

I bleed the system by getting my gf to pump the clutch about 5 times then hold on the last time. Turned the bleeder screw let the fluid come out then tighten. The pressure plate it came with the the clutch kit I got from auto zone. "How did you mount the fork onto the bearing carrier?" I just put it back on the same way I took it off. I kocked off old throw out bearing then kocked on new one. Then put that clip thing on the bearing carrier and back onto the fork. And it slips over 3000rpms till 5500rpms.
