I just finished installing a new OEM clutch master cylinder on my 1993 240sx. The old one was leaking brake fluid all over my clutch pedal.

When I press and depress the clutch pedal, there is an annoying squeaking noise. This noise started immediately when I first pressed on the clutch to bleed the lines. After I was finished, the noise was still there. From my observation, the noise seems to be coming from the clutch master cylinder and not the spring on the pedal assembly. Was I supposed to grease some part of the master cylinder before installing?

The squeaking noise sounds like rubber is being squeezed through something. Or maybe those squeaky toys. If you saw the movie Snatch, the noise sounds very similar to the toy that the dog swallows :chuckle: .

Shouldnt sounds like that. Id take it back. That would be a red flag for me for problems later.
