so i bought a 90 300zx 2+2 about 2 weeks ago the car has 250k miles but had an engine swap from an infiniti j30 which is the same vg engine and it drove fine but always smelled like burned clutch and one day i was speeding and my clutch blew so i took it to my mechanic and i ordered a competition stage 2 clutch for it.
When my mechanic took out the transmission he said that the clutch was wasted and it was in pieces and he cant figure out why. But he installed the clutch and i just got the car back yesterday and now its doing this weird thing where when i step on it my rpms go up and i dont accelerate fast. it feels like im riding my clutch and my 3rd gear grinds every time unless i ease in the gear slowly. idk what all this could be could some one help me out? my major problem is the riding the clutch feeling.

does your clutch pedal have any free play? maybe it needs to be adjusted.

It didn't at all but now I turned on my car and tried to leave and my clutch just dropped to the floor and I tried to bleed it but there was no air and It was leaking by the slave cylinder and the slave cylinder wont disengage.

Sounds like the slave went out. i would replace it and also check the clutch line, if its bent it'll kill clutches. I went through three when i had mine replaced because of a bent clutch line.

Well I just installed a new slave cylinder and now it looks like its stuck engaged. But I'm going to look at the bent clutch line.

^that's unfortunate, hate to hear that. Just check to see if there's any crimps in the line or any kinks.
