Looks like I definitely need to replace both clutch and flywheel on my '05 sedan. At least that's what I was told at the dealer. In your opinion, what's the best combo out there? I'm not planning on going FI, but I could change my mind in the future. Please share your experience. TNX:confused

ACT streetlite flywheel & exedy clutch. I have been told the oem flywheel cannot be resurfaced by Infiniti, but some machine shops will do it. I would go with the lighter flywheel which is a bonus and the fact it can be resurfaced down the road. There shouldn't be anything wrong with your master cylinder.

I'd recommend some research before you use aftermarket parts...solid flywheels have a tendency to induce transmission gear chatter. Typically, the flywheels that weigh the least have the most noticeable noise... (JWT, Competition)

Yeah, we already had that discussion with him, but another thread was started.

I think I'll for the ACT Streetlite flywheel, at 16.9lb should not create a lot of noise. As for the clutch, I'm considering a Exedy Stage 1, which is one step up from OEM. Other candidates are Cluthmasters HD Stage 1 and Competition SCC Stage 2. Any advice? Thanks.

I'd stick to stage 1 clutches unless you have FI mods in the future.

I have the 16.9 and it doesn't bother me at all.
