New CF hood

I just ordered a VIS carbon fiber hood today. I cant wait itll take about a week to get in. Is the VIS a good hood. Who has one and pros and cons of it.

umm.. THE quality of the VIS Hood has greatly increased in the last year, their 2 blocks from my house.

good i heard they were good compared to some other company i was just double checking. Does anyone have anything bad to say about vis cfhood. More good things to say are welcome to. I just want all the info i can get.

i bought one and just got it.... they sent me the invader hood for the 95-96 240 when i told them i drive a 97 and the damn piece of paper they sent with the hood says its for the 97-98! its just annoying cause i am gone for the week and cant send it back til i get home then by the time they send me my hood (hoping they are not morons and actually have a hood for the 97) i will be back at school. i hope they dont think the 95-96 hood will fit the 97.

they hood looked real good though. the carbon fiber had 3 spots where it was a little messed up. one spot towards the middle was pretty bad. it was noticable in all lights. i probably would have sent it back either way but they look real cool. i have pictures somewhere let me see if i have any in my email since im not at my place...

here is the messup. its hard to see cause i took these in my garage at night. it looks ALOT worse in person during the day. (i dont know how much you can even see it when i shrink the pic to post here...)

will someone also tell me if im right? this is the front of the hood... the lip is there to fit the 95-96 right? it cant fit on the 97 cause there is no lip by the light. heres the pic of the front right...

yeah thats for a 95-96 I hope they dont do that to me. It loked like there was a ripple or something in the cf but other thtan that it looked pretty clean.. How much does it weigh and does it have rolled edges and all that,
