I've never been a fan of hood vents, but still...very nice.

What are you doing for the hood supports?

sweet true cf or a layer over fiberglass? don't paint it but do a few coats of clear so the finish lasts and it doesn't delaminate.

Looks ok I guess. Are the vents functional or strictly cosmetic? I think OEM style CF would look better. Just my opinion. Good job overall. I need a CF hood for the Q. Might knock 200-300 lbs off.

Paint it... without paint carbon fiber is spelled R-I-C-E... like the vents though

Do you mean to prevent cracking....nothing yet, need to sort it out. Wasn't planning on getting this hood but an opportunity presented itself and I went for it...

I like both the paint options. I think I like the second one more, though.
