Got it off ebay for about 160 with shipping.Shipping was extremely slow though, i paid for it on 9-28 and got it today. The seller told me he was gonna have one more for the year and also has fiberglass ones of the same style. ebay id was min-va.

Is it just me, or is that actually a Tiida grill?

Never noticed but yeh, it does look like it was modeled after it.

But isn't the stock Tiida grill in 3 separate pieces?

No its not off of a stock Tiida they both look completly different. Plus that middle part of that grill is apart of the front bumper on the tiida when on the versa's is it seperate. Its a copy-cat of one of the tiida's aftermarket grills but for the tiida and most likly homemade.

Isn't it pretty much just a stock Versa grille with the Nissan emblem removed, horizontal slats cut out and replaced with mesh, and wrapped in carbon fiber?(Not saying that's a bad thing...)

Almost all 'CF' pieces are plastic/fiberglass wrapped in CF, otherwise they are REALLY expensive.

The fit looks great. It just looks really out of place being the only carbon fiber piece on an all white car. It would look really nice if you had a carbon fiber hood or some carbon fiber trim/accessories (carbon fiber fog lamp finishers or mirrors for example). I disagree with painting the mesh black. I think it would just be too much black on the front end. The mesh might look good in white to match the car.

I'd like to see a full frontal shot that shows the lower part of the bumper too... I think the grill would look better if you got the full effect of the black bits in the lower bumper...

I'm thinkin of painting the the grill white, same color to match the car.ORPainting the mesh black and hope for more CF parts and maybe even a lip kit.

I think it might look better if you paint the center V white and get some stainless "speed" grill to replace the aluminum mesh.

I like it, almost got the same for my GF's new versa. Hers is black, would blend better with a black car, but looks nice just the same!

Here's the kind of mesh I think looks good. If this grill was white I'd buy it.

Carbon fiber can be painted. In fact, if you don't at least clear coat it, you're exposing the part to the elements, and it will not last as long as if you paint and/or clear coat it.

The point of CF is to be lighter than the stock steel, while still retaining most of the strength. The unpainted CF look was merely popularized by the "street scene".

Thanks EV ...but I was talking about the polished SS grille from Trex. I like the polished mesh, but the polished frame is a little too much "bling" for me.
