Just won a Sony 10 Disc, from a guy on eBay. He bought it new, in 2003, for his Q45, from the dealership $547 (OUCH!). He sold the car, and decided to sell the CD Changer on eBay.

Soon, I will join the ranks of AZhitman, and the rest of you, that enjoy 10 CD's worth of music, while driving.

It has been too long, since my other one crapped out. - It gives the CD Err code, when I try to use it.

This will be CD Changer #3, and I hope the last one I buy.

Next up...an In-Dash CD/Cassette combo from a later Infiniti (If I can get one under $100, off of eBay)

My '91 Q used to do that when I first bought it in 2000. Now the CD player plays fine.

CD Changer is In, and it works!:ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper

Now I have 3 cartridges, and 2 Changers. One that works, and another, for parts, or repair. I had a third, but sent it to a NICO member (I don't recall who - AZhitman!:pface )

I might just have the second unit repaired, for a spare, or for a NICO brother. It has the mounting brackets, so it is a bolt-in, for someone who does not have one, now. I think the repair cost is about $150, from Sony.

Jeff....where did you send your changer to?

I have a 10 disc changer that needs a small spring that helps load the disc.... I just don't want to pay big money for a 1 cent spring..... I would like to call someone to see about parts....

AZhitman sent his off, for repairs. I think it went directly to Sony, after a few attempts at local sound shops.

He still has the carcass, of my original changer, and I am sure the spring is still fine in it. I sent him my original changer, when I got my second one off of eBay.

Hit him up, for it.

I think I will do it....my changer has been sitting in the closet for 3 years because of this......now the car is my sons (90Q)...but i know he would like a changer..... he is also trying to save up to get rid of the pie pans....I told him he needs to save his money for future repairs and maintenance..
