I recently bought a 1998 Infiniti i30 in January, but a few things are wrong,
  • all 4 calipers are dragging are they hard to rebuild even though it is not cost effective and if I decide to buy them should I buy the rear calipers with the e-brake hardware or just transfer over the old hardware?

The front driver wheel bolts keep coming loose, how do I get the old ones out of the wheel hub to put in new bolts?

I have been reading about the knock sensor on the forum and all of them say that the sensor is under the air intake, but I have one in the passenger side of the engine that looks exactly like the sensor that the store showed me so i'm lost on which one to change?

One on the air hoses had a bad crack in it so I got replacement tubing but it keeps kinking, if i make it any longer it will kink worse and any shorter it wont reach, Neil told me it would eventually go away as the heat of the engine gets to it but right now its making the engine run rough. Is there any way to mold it properly?

and lastly my antenna does not fully retract when I shut off the car and it makes a grinding sound as it tries to go in and out any suggestions on how to fix it myself? I refuse to buy a new motor because the radio works and it is simply cosmetic.
thanks in advanced :P

Welcome to NICO.

Rebuilding the calipers depends on your level of comfort. Brakes aren't anything to mess around with. If you feel confident about your abilities it shouldn't be too bad a job. You can always take them to a shop and have them rebuilt.

Front caliper assembly page BR-13
Rear caliper assembly page BR-17

The only knock sensor is in the engine valley under the intake manifold. Accessible from the driver side with an extension and a swivel attachment.

It depends on which hose it is. You definitely don't want to have it kinked, especially if it's affecting how the motor runs. You may be able to find a thicker walled hose with the same inner diameter at a parts store.

Only way to fix the antenna is to buy a new mast assembly.

Here's a video on how to remove and replace the assembly. Same process. As a side note: the metal piece is normally a pain to get out. See here: stubborn-antenna-any-removal-tips-t461833.html

I don't personally. You'll need to find a copy of the NissanFAST parts catalog. You can do a google search and find downloads, but I make no claims as to the validity or security of said files.
