new car, new paint

hey guys, i havent been on here in a while. i got a new s13 hatch, bout 2months ago. kinda rough shape, but i managed to grad some things and make it better. got some goodies too, megan springs and a apexi n1 dual exhaust. soon im boosting it, getting a intercooler from a friend and got a boost gauge for now, just thought i would post it up in here so yall can see.








still have to wetsand and buff, but it looks better in person.

l0l, i will later when i get more paint. my friend gave me just enough for the whole outside, i gotta get some more for inside. but i didnt use a paintbooth, just my moms garage!

l0l, my plans for it. plans- boost of course. wheels XXR 522 16x8 0 offset. side skirts, ksport coilovers. stealing my brother B&M shifter. strip inside paint it white, paint roof black, and get like a little roll cage nothing serious. Corbeau seats with megan harness. nismo knob. im glad i have a awesome job to afford this. boost should be done by the end of the summer.

Did you shoot clear onto it? And did you really use printer paper to mask lol! Hey, if it works.. why not lol

What kind of paint? Ratio Mix? Spray width? Props nonetheless/

no clear on it, all i had was the paint. and i couldnt tell you what kind but it was just gloss white. i did a 15 to 1 ratio mix. and hey the copy paper worked until it flew up when i forgot to tape one and i kinda sprayed on my windshield. lmao but owell. im picking the car up today so i will have pics on the sunlight and with the lip back on it.

Paint looks good..i need to finish up some bodywork on my car...and then ill paint it. I got Megan springs too...they should be here tomorrow.. Is the drop noticable?

any runs? plan on painting my coupe myself, white also. Is it hard to see flaws while painting with white?

i pulled the dent out after the pic in red, when you lean on it a little bit it puts the dent back in. i looked at it this morning it wasnt there. so i dont know. but there are no runs in the paint. and it is hard to see flaws in it to me. good luck painting!
