New Car KA24E possibly? 1990 240sx

anyone have any ideas or ways to point out what type of engine may be in my car? this is my first car, i've been a car lover my whole life, all into the imports, nothin but, although, my intelligence on the engines of this particular car aren't the greatest, if there is any helpful hints about tuning this engine it would be greatly appreciated!!

ka24e if it's the original motor in there. 89 and 90 had the ka24e anything newer came with the ka24de.

1991 - 1994 (1995-1998 S14) Dual Cam Engine DOHC
