New car got scratched..... ouch!

In the first week some idiot decided to be funny and scratch my new G37s with a keylike object in the front rightside like 1.5feet long. I was thinking about taking it to a shop to paint it over again, and saw the 3M clear bra in here. No experience with it, but how long should I wait after I paint that to put on the bra?

Any suggestions are welcomed

I hate when jealous low-life’s do that. Unfortunately a clear bra will only protect the front. It won’t prevent them from keying the door.

Actually I understand that the entire surface can be covered. It just takes an installer to make the proper template and of course your money!

I'm not certain a clear bra or even the whole car being covered would prevent a mark if someone is putting a key to your car with some force behind it.I would assume the people who install the 3m product would have an answer for that but a long run of a key could leave some damage.By the way that should be covered by insurance,if you file a police report.
