i just got my 240 and would like to say I love it and have been a big nissan fan for 6 years i have worked on freinds 300zx's i have worked on maximas and sentras but now it is time to take all that knowledge and put it into my car. First off i found my car from my manager at big-o tires where i work. it is an 89 and it only has 40,000 original miles on it and i got it for 4,500 dollars. so any way i started dinking around with it and i took the fan off replaced all of the vaccum lines painted the valve cover and was looking at the maf sensor thinking that there had to be something i could do to make it bigger or something, and i remembered i had a n/a 00zx maf that is 3 inches wide it doesn't mount straight to the car but it was something to start with. I took my maf out of the metal housing and tried to see if it would fit in that one, i had to rip al of the electrical out of the 300z maf and grind down all of the edges i also took the 4 bolt holes off of the end of it so it was round then i took a rubber o ring and put it over the round sensor on the maf and stuck it through the hole for the 300z's i found two self tapping screws that would fit through the holes on the sensor and screwed them into the plastic then i sealed all off the bottom and sides with silicone then i drilled a hole in the bottom of the maf and put the intake air temp sensor inline there. Then i had to sand down the stock box "for now until i get a k&n for it" to mfit the maf through once i got it through i put the metal ring thing back on and tightened down the bolts it seems to run fine but it is still in testing i am trying something i saw on here about a 330 ohm resistor tells the computer that the intake is 42 degrees and with the bigger air hole i am thinking it should level them both out. I am going to do a full write up on how i did this with pictureslet me know what you think it might be possible if enough people were interested for me to make more of these for a reasonable price
