Well, the Altima is going to be sold in a week and it is up to me to figure out the setup in the 90 Civic Hatchback. It will have a sweet JDM motor, so that makes up for the fact that it is a 14 year old Honda. anyways... My headunit will be my current Clarion DRX-9675rZ. The components in the front will be the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1s as usual. I think im gonna do fiberglass kicks. I am leaving my Eclipse Aluminum 12s in the trunk in their custom boxes and the JBL BP1200.1. So that means that I will be using my PPI PC4800 channel amp for the whole system. So this is my plan... Use the front channels for the Infinitys and the third and fourth channels (400w RMS bridged) for the sub. The amp has a cool feature called Qbass. It is basically a parametric bass eq that has up to 18db of boost and the control is mounted up in front. Ahh the sub. I think I am going to buy a JL 15w3. I want a 15 to run for a while and I know that it is a solid unit. We'll see. More to come.

sounds good. i just can't front stage like that. i suppose i could get used to it but it just sounds weird. Some guy at a shop tried to convince me it is better or something but i still love having all sound coming from all of my speakers... that's me i guess. i just feel like i'm not really using them all unless they all are playing at the same level. anyway good luck with the system.

oh hey simm, check out what my buddy had built for his 90 civic HB:

4 alpine type r 12's with an 1800W MA Audio Class "X" amp... hit 144db too!

he sold the box & amp rack for $400 CDN, but paint cost him $300 alone, red with silver pearl, can't really see in the pic...

the hatch with a b16 would smoke his altima, off the line, from a roll, pretty much anywhere.

Well, the Civic was free. It was sitting around at my house. The motor that is in it is blown with only like 79k on it. My little brother didnt change the oil I guess. The Civic in general is in near perfect condition. It is perfect for a college campus because it is small and gets great gas mileage. The Altima needs some work, and I would rather sell my car and put a B16 in the civic with the money instead of spending paychecks on fixin the Altima. I've driven it 100k miles over 5 years. The car has over 230k miles and I am ready to move on. The civic has a gajillion parts for it available for really cheap. I will learn a lot by doing the swap and it will give me something to do over the summer. MOST OF ALL... it will be faster than the Altima in every way, it will have a stick, I will actually be able to do a burnout, and it will lay 2 strips of rubber when I do it.

Any other pictures of the hatch, Simm?

Don't forget to post work logs (with pics, of course ;))
