Hi All,

Recently I just purchased myself a 1995 RPS13 200sx! I previously owned a 1990 Skyline GT-R and a 1990 Fairlady Z 2+2 Twin Turbo which I sold to my little brother.

Since I haven't posted often I'll make a formal intro to the S-Chassis section!

My name is Peter, I'm 22, Im from Manitoba, Canada and by trade im a GTRO (Gas Turbine Repair & Overhaul Technician)...aka I rebuild aircraft engines.

Immediate plans are to adjust the suspension as it's a harsh ride for our city streets and looking into new wheel and tire combo. Minor detailing and little odds and ends. Car runs and boosts very nicely. Interior is absolutley MINT I haven't seen one so clean.

Won't babble on too much so here is the car...

1995
151,xxx Km's
Blacktop SR20 that is stock with a Blitz BOV.
Fully adjustable Cusco Coilovers
Front and Rear Cusco strut tower bars.
LSD (unknown to what it is)
And Cat-back exhaust (not sure of brand though, very nice tone, very throaty)
18x9.5 +18 SSR Professor P1 Rears
18x9.0 (?offset) Garson (never heard of them but not a bad looking wheel)

Eh. Technically it depends on if it's a japanese market car or imported from australia/eu. Even with an SR, they're still 180SXes in japan, but the other countries it was exported to do call them 200SXes.

I'm seeing a "180sx" emblem in the quarter glass. Idk if it's been swapped or not, but if it's from japan than its a 180sx. And the SR black top is probably stock. 180sx's came with black tops in japan after like 1994 or 1995 I think. Not too sure though, I know it doesn't have VVT like the s14 black tops though.

Props for a clean a** car man! :bigthumb: Hope it doesn't get cancer (rust) like most cars in Canada. :frown:

Okay technically it is a 180sx cause it was imported from Japan. I only think it is proper to call it 200sx because the tailights say 200sx and it's a 2.0 L but the quarter glass says 180sx...never really knew why, always assumed it was just a cost saving thing with Nissan.

Its' production date is May 1995, Canada's import laws require it to be 15 years old from production date. Car landed in Canada end of July. I purchased off a friend who lives here and in Japan half the year.

Yes the engine is from factory because it is the RPS13 aka Reproduction S13 where they continued the S13 body style until 97 IIRC with the blacktop SR20 and if I still remember correctly the only SR20 engine with VVT was the S15 blacktop engine.

The beauty of bringing in JDM cars is NO RUST ANYWHERE!!!!! Cause espically in Canada its damn near impossible to find a rust free 240.

Thanks for the compliments and hope I cleared up any confusion. (correct me if im wrong too im no genius)

Most JDM cars avoid rust because its a death trap to even attempt to drive them in the canadian winters so they rarely see snow, maybe a few odd fall days a year when it sneaks up on us. Wether or not I agree with 180/Silvia hype is another question. I guess since I see more 180/Silvia in a day than I do done up 240's they've become average in Canada, I don't believe they're safe but that's just my opinion.

Its good to see more fellow Canadians though and clean S13 man- its rare to see a stock JDM car now a days, JDM S chassis are stripped out and made mad tyte jap dryft style yo.

Yeah that's the plan, going to get a new set of wheels and keep the car very clean.

I wish I could get my GT-R back but some @$$holes decided to vandalize the hell out of it...

Oh well im plenty happy with my 180 :)
