Alright so we had open lab today in auto shop
- I challenged the oil with mobile 1 10w-30 and mobil own filter
- balanced the tires
- tried to fix the broken stud but auto shop gave me the wrong size of stud
- I also found that the lug nuts have splines for security but the guy didn't give me the tool for it so i had to buy new lugs
I also bought a cheap jack so i can do some work on in it in the parking lawn.

Dawn mixed with water, spray with a water hose from the inside out, thoroughly dry, but judging by looks of the filter I'd replace it.

Welcome to the forums! As I also started my build in college, I have some advice for you; you can take it with a grain of salt, but I have been there. I know the college budget to build a car sucks and you will want to buy as many mods as quickly as possible. Do your homework on the parts you're interested in before ordering up a bunch of stuff because it's cheap. There is a reason why it's cheap. There are a ton of cheap low quality parts out there sold by companies that are only interested in making a quick buck. They feed off of the R&D of the legit companies and hope you don't notice how terrible their versions of the parts truly are. It will take longer, but save and spend your limited funds on good quality stuff. Otherwise you will regret it when stuff starts to fall apart a few years later (or sooner). There are a lot of good people on this forum that have years of experience with these cars; so don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. It's always a good idea to search before asking though, as there is a ton of information and history here. A good rule of thumb is that if you can't find it after 15 min of searching, then ask away. Hope you enjoy your stay here at NICO!

Thank you.... yea I'm little angry at my self for ordering a isis pump after I look at a couple of the forums! I won't be buying anymore of their products because of there reviews.

Yeah, Isis (along with companies like Megan, Circuit Sports, Mishimoto, Godspeed, etc) all come from the same group of Taiwanese and Chinese factories. They are just rebranded and recolored to match the selling company. If you want to know about any company, just ask, myself or another experienced enthusiast will most likely know the answer. These companies typically use low quality materials and quality control; so parts don't hold up to abuse and don't last super long. They will generally work (most of the time and typically at a lower performance level than their quality counterparts), but they don't give you anything special, ha ha.

Oh and does anyone know of some motor mounts that are not going to kill me on the price? The solid ones are just to harsh for my taste.

If it's a street car, you'll want the urethane or rubber mounts; not the solid mounts. I currently have Nismo mounts myself, but I'll be swapping to these (the urethane) this winter. A few friends have these and they all love them.

Just did that myself. Haven't had the chance to install my new subframe and suspension parts yet but it will happen soon. I'm waiting on some coilovers.
