Finally, after around 2 years of waiting. My other camera (Canon SX10IS) was frustrating me to the point of pretty much not doing any photography for months. It was starting to develop more stuck pixels on the sensor. Noise was becoming an issue for me, even at low ISO's. I had "outgrown" my previous camera.
So I got this:


Nikon D7000 with an 18-200 lens. A 35mm 1.8 lens came later.
It's SO much better. My old camera feels like a toy compared to this one. The image quality is excellent, as is low light performance now that I can crank the ISO all the way up to 6400 and the image will still be salvageable (with a little bit of work in post processing).
Here are my first few shots that I thought were good enough to upload.
