new buyer tips

Hey Im lookin to purchase a G35 coupe. Anyone have any pointers or tips for me? I will have to buy used. I guess Im lookin for info on diffrences between the 03-05's.

I know I want a manual coupe.

Any tips would be appreciated.Thanks

Go with the '05...different intake plenium design, much better stereo, 19" rims on the premium pkg. Has 298HP out of the box vs. 280.

The 03-04 had the option of Brembro brakes...but they were very expensive to maintain, and only stop a little better than the stock 05.

I do like the dark blue color available in 03-04 that isn't for 05+...

There may be some issues with the 03 manual transmission. Search the forum.

I'm still looking for a used 03/04 coupe....just don't tell the wife!
