New buyer on the EX35 ... questions and advice from EX owners ?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi.... I just reserved $1000 bucks on an 2008 EX35 Journey (no premium) yesterday. Lease is at $1,000 down $399/month for 10,000 miles/year and $1,000 down and $405/month for 12,000 miles/year. This is for 42 months. Is this a good deal?

I just made the reservation yesterday, but I forgot to notice .. there's no heated seats without premium, correct? Anyway, I live in North Carolina.

The basic auxilary input jack for the audio system ... that allows you to use any MP3 Player, correct ?

Since I choose Obidisian Black, I was wondering if there was a black leather bra for the EX35 ?

Thanks for any answers you could give me.

Hey there ... my advise to spend the extra and get the premium package - it is WELL worth it. I had a loaner without it and it makes a world of difference (it is better all around).

You are correct - you will not get heated seats, you will get a basic aux input jack (and not the great iPod interface), you will not get bluetooth, you will not get tilt and telescoping wheel, the stereo is not as good (no subwoofers), etc.

Not sure about the bra ... I wouldn't put one on a high end car personally.

Hope the info helps in your decision!

You might want to put forward your purchase price for the vehicle - that way people will be able to tell you whether it was a good deal or not. The residual and lease rate are generally set by the financing company, so the only leverage you have is around purchase price.

BTW, I agree with Taunton02780 on both his points. You should try to get the premium package - it gets you a lot more and is worth it IMHO. As for the bra, unless you are travelling on dirt back roads, I don't find it to be too useful.

If you are worried about stone chips, etc..forget the bra and get a 3M film or similar product for the front of your car. They are invisible and won't ruin the looks of such a fine vehicle as the EX35!
