I'm getting replacement OEM bumper installed once my body shop gets it painted and clearcoated. Given the common convention that I shouldn't apply waxes or sealers for first 30 days, I'm questioning even having it installed during this period. The bumper sits 6" above the road surface, and because of the winters up here, sand and rocks are prevalent year round. Doesn't make sense to me to have unprotected paint so low to the ground....

thoughts?

I leave mine for a month then get it Clear coat Vinyl wrapped. Did that with the lip and it works great. I have yet to do it with the bumper tho. But yeah, it's worth the money especially if you're lowered.
