New Bulbs for Pathfineer

I am looking to replace my fiancees headlights to pair that would give it a blue tint, don't want to go completely blue, think thats a little too much, what would you guys recommend I heard extreme white would give me that look, what do you guys think? What website does everyone use? Thanks.

wanna spend a hundred or 2 for some HIDS or some XENON look alikes? those are about 50-60 bucks a pair....

HID i believe 6-8k will give you that tinted blue and the XENON (the cheapy thing that i have are alright but im changing it to HID) are rated "7k" they look it but dont perform like HID

First of all, HID is short for High Intensity Discharge. Xenon is the gas used to produce this. To get true HID lights, you need to install new bulbs, wiring, and ballasts.Or you could get standard halogen lights that have tinting on the bulb, which severely limit light output.

If you go the HID kit way, 8000K will be a tint of blue and what you are looking for.

8K is pretty blue and starting to get into the purple range. I would guess that 6K is probably the "hyper-white" look you want.

Thanks for the responses guys but maybe I should have clarified that she does not have HID's, I am just looking for a basic bulb replacement that would give her brighter headlights but will not burn the harness also give her a blue tint look, my cars have always had HID's that's why I'm not that familiar with the basic bulbs, I know there is a ton of websites though. Thanks!

then the xenon gas bulbs.... just go into your local car shop and they should have it... tell em what youre looking for
