new bug??

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

hi all you EX owners.
i am an 2010 EX owner. I was using some of my front windshield defroster function this week and...and discovered this...not sure if its a bug or just my EX?

here are the steps to go through to see it.

turn on your heater, by press "+", make sure the temp is above 75 degress. and make sure the "AC" light is on. also make sure your circulating light is on too!!
now, press the "AC" button once, to turn off the AC. but the vent should still be going, bring in hot air. and you can also see that Circulating light went off.
soooooo!!! we cas assume that currently "fresh" air is coming in, correct? but press the Circulating button again...... when I do this, then it says "fresh" air.
if it was already on fresh air, with the light off. when I pressed it once, shouldn't it be "circulating" now? with the light on?

I have tested it over and over again. same thing every time.
not a huge deal, but seems to be like a bug to me.

anyone else?

For the front defroster to be working on most cars, the air conditioner is activated in order to remove moisture. By turning off the air conditioner, you have, in effect both turned of the defroster AND disabled the recirculate function. What is it that you are attempting to do by this unique combination of control settings?
Maybe it's not a bug at all?

actually, not..that's not what I meant.

basically when the unit is on defroster mode, and if you press "AC" to turn off the AC.
the light on the "recycle" turns off as well. so we can assume, it is auto set to "fresh" air coming in. Correct?
BUT!!! when I press the "recycle" button, that's when it turns to "fresh". so that means even when the light was off, it was still on "recycle" not "fresh" air.
