Hello all, I installed new bucket seats in my 720 today went pretty good.. I had to make all new mounts but was pretty easy just took time. I bought the sport seats from O'RIELYS I think I spelled that right, anyway, they were on-sale for 120.00 per. sure beat the stock ones, and I made them so they slide back about 2 inches further than stock, I have long leggs. I figured to recover and build the foam back up in the driver seat would cost more than new. Passenger seat was perfect. The guy I bought the truck from was a big boy and seat was crushed down, Us people with no butts could feel the springs LOL..

I can get the pics, getting them posted could be another story. I will have a friend who is more comp. savey than me help. Once I see him do it, then I will be good. Mounts in the back will be hard to see under seat rails. pretty simple to make, if you can fab and have material your set. It takes per side-one 17" long piece of 1x1 square heavy wall tube, 2 pcs. of 3/16" flate 2-1/4"x 2" for the back support. drill and tap the heavy wall tube to bolt the seat rail too. The flats weld on the tube on the bottom. hole centers on the flats bolt to the floor. I punched the holes 3/8" to allow for a small amount of play. Drilled and tapped the tube at 1/4" centered on the rails of the seat. You must use the second hole forward from the back end and be carefull about the clearence in order for both seat and mount to have room to bolt down without overlapping each other.

On the front, very simple 2 pcs. of flat bar, 3/16 2"x4" long, punch or drill one hole in each- centered and up 5/8" fron the end. Then bend at 1 1/4" from same end at about 65 to 75 deg. You will have to cope out inside front mount to allow for flat bolt up because of the floor mount in the truck has a small bulge in it.

Ran out of room. Then bolt rear mounts to seat, front mounts to truck floor brkt. and check for clearence on everything, mark holes for the seat slider in the front and remove and drill to mach, paint it all and re-install. Remember to start the rear bolts to the floor to help locate the seat properly, this will also assure that the slides are even with eachother before the hole are marked in the front..
