iam gettin new rotors and pads for the 240. is it nessecary to drain the brake fluid and replace it? why does this need to be done when you change the brakes. also, i dont plan on making gobs of power, so is it nessecary to upgrade the rear rotors aswell to drilled/slotted ones, or just keep the blank rotors on the rear?

break upgrades are good if you want to have stoping power but if your going to keep it stock i wouldnt bother with upgrades, maybe some good pads all the way around or somthing, you also dont want to buy good pads up front and use stock ones for the rear b/c that would mess up your break balance. but yeah, its not nessary to chnge out your break fluid. its would not hurt to change it out, but you dont have too.

i dont think it will make you losse power jsut lack of backpresure, i would stick with 2.50 cat-back if i was you.

not necessary to change fluid. but have you or anyone previous done this to the vehicle? if not that could be the original juice from the factory. in my opinion i'd do it. the biggest calipers, the best rotors and the hottest pads wont work for crap if your fluid is old and full of water.

and losing back pressure is a good thing in most people's opinion. expect to lose some bottom end , but gain a little on the top.

ok that sounds like a good reason cause my top end is ****ty and whenever i happen to TRY to race someone i always lose. it seems that whenever i mash the throttle, the car kinda bogs down, but if i slowly apply the throttle, it picks up faster. but i only have a cold air intake, so i aint got much.

get some speedbleeders....they're great if you're doing the brakes yourself. Change the brake fluid, it doesn't take that long.

yeah those are a great idea, and i think iam just gonna clean up my stock rotors and get some good pads, any suggestions on pads? also when i was thinkin bout the exhaust, whats the diff. between gettin a muff shop to weld up one with ractive ( or other brand ) muffler on it and payin 300 or more bucks for a name brand exhaust, is there any power difference. also with the bigger piping of a aftermarket exhaust , will it still mount up to the stock piping one the rest of the exhaust system w/o any leaks or probs. cause iam just a catback right now. sorry for so many questions, iam new so i just have tons of questions in my head. thanks every1

i run ebc green stuff front, hawk hps rear. ive used the ebc on 2 vehicles and like their initial bite. they lack that bite in the rain though.

what size pipe is your exhaust? many people recommend either 2.25 or 2.5 in. pipe for NA cars. if you already have a cat back why change? are you getting headers? if so then use the same size ppe all the way back. if you just want a new muffler then any shop could handle that. they can also weld in reducers or what not to make all the pipes fit. i suggest making them let you inspect it before they take it off the lift.

or if you have the time and tools DIY. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/395215/8 heres a link to my exhaust set-up.
