So far it looks like my choices:

OEM = Negative. Going to the track, want something better

Project Mu = Looks real nice. About $220 for front/rear

Nismo = Look good, $245 for front/rear

Hawk HPS = Looks good and cheap. About $160-170 for front/rear from stillen.

I think I'm going to try out the hawks.

I am also currently leaning towards the hawks.

Before I buy them, I will see if MetalMatrix makes anything for us, as I liked the on my old Q

I love the performance of the non brembo brakes. I think with some better pads/fluid/lines and maybe rotors we could really reduce the fade..

Kudos to nissan for matching the braking distances without brembo.

Stoptech has an interesting level 1 kit for the non brembo Z's

Cheers to you for supporting the sponsers, but unfortunately the prices are high.

I'd rather donate the difference then be bent over by a sponser.

You havent looked enough then.Here is the list there isnt anything you cant get here and at competive pricing too.. ( no I dont get kickbacks, its just the principle of it)

Every single one of our sponsors, will match or better that other shops prices.Call up Dan at midway and ask him.I wasnt looked for an arguement and am too tired to go through all those sites now..

Yea I go through Dan for just about everything. He doesn't require shipping, so I can pick up everything locally.

He doesn't carry redline fluids any longer however

The hawks are ok. But the project Mu quote is too high. We have them for $201.40 for a front and rear set. At that price it's worth the extra money IMO. You don't see Hawk pads in many 24 hour races, but the Project Mu car (R34 GTR Nur Spec) won the 24 hours at Nuremburg last year and they also race in the JGTC, D1 Grand Prix, and the Asian Touring Car Championship. You just can't compete with real world product development.
