New bov causing problems

Well i just put a new bov on my 20det, i blocked up the pipe leading back before the AFM, the vacuum pipe is attatched and everything sealed nice. so when it warms up losing power under boost and no sound what so ever from the bov. thought it could be a pressure issue or something to do with no enough airflow under boost. any ideas appreciated. also have 3inch straight through no muffler anyone know what sort of power loss that is?
