Well tonight I turned up the boos t to 14 psi on stock internals after 12psi for 15,000 miles and the stock motor now has 171000 miles on it and i'm impressed for a stock block. I should have a good 300 hp to the wheels now. in 2nd gear it wants to fish tail while trying to go straight while i'm on the street !!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol this car is starting to get fun. Im thinking of going to the track tommorow night to see if i can run in the 12's lol.

set up is 740cc nismo injectors and 300zx maf with jim wolf ecufine tuned with apexi neo -10% wile in boost lol. they tune rich. 12's on the afr now.

peak boost top mount with garret t3/to4e 57trim / .63ar 3" exhast from turbo back and open dump .

Greddy front mount inter cooler, j30 limited slip, act clutch rated at 330 ft. lbs of tourque, that thing should be getting close to slipping lol

i'm very proud of this motor for stock internals.

any ways food for thought fellow ka-t members. traction seems to be my worst enemy not sure what to do about that yet !!!!! lol

Pics? Sounds like a nice setup. What are you using manifold wise?

that's awesome.

Can't wait to save up enough to have ecu + injectors to be able to up the boost also ::sigh::

What kind of tires are you using? Maybe running 255/45's on the back? or softer compound? or even "drag radials"

Do you plan to dyno it?

With AF's in the 12's even with a JWT tune I would anticipate a new engine REAL soon. It will blow up pretty quick at that boost level on stock motor. Get those Af's down to mid 11's and pull a degree or two of timing to stay on the safe side. You're o the ragged edge on pump gas with stock compression. Motor should then last a nice long time.

afr is right at 12:1 - 12.2:1 . Ill be pulling this motor soon any way I have a fully built motor with pauter rods and wisco pistons 9:1 that has been waiting to go in for a year now i just didn't think this stock motor would do this good Thanks for the advise though. I have more tracktion probloms than any thing lol !

I like the low to mid 12's...more power and more efficient. With timing retard you shouldn't need to run in the 11's IMO. Granted, you can never run anything less then 93, but I still think the mid 11's are to rich. JWT usually pulls to much timing if anything.

THIS IS MY OPINION. I have a knock meter, wideband and experience tuning. So I would run 12's AFR on my car. This isn't for everyone, I'm just stating an opinion.
