Hello All,

Have joined many forums in the past. Figured I would join this one to get my knowledge up on my new asset.
I do not have a ton of plans for my car at this time, but we all know that may change.

Just had the car buff, waxed, and polished. Going to have the A/C Serviced this week. Also want to get some tint on it soon. (It is way too hot here in AZ)
A few other plans I have are a set of 20" wheels, and probably the GROM kit for the stereo.

What suggestions do you all have for mods? Anything really worth while, possible performance wise?
Or even something to help with our MPG. This is not my daily, its more of my weekend/family car. But would be nice to help the MPG some.

Also, are there any other modules you all suggest besides the GROM kits?
Oh, and I was looking to take out my navigation DVD, so I could order the newest disc. However, it was having trouble coming out. Is this an easy fix or common problem?

Thank you for all the discussion ahead of time.

Welcome to the forum.

As the new guy, I will give you this warning: STAY. AWAY. FROM. GROM. (if you search this forum, you'll come across my threads about it ;) - check YouTube too ;) ). I will trash that company for as long as I live or am involved in the Infiniti world.

Get a USA Spec. Bluetooth is a nice technology when it works, but in my experience it's hit or miss, especially on these older cars as BT firmware improves on phones and hasn't changed in 10 years on the car. I'd get an iPod and pair it with the USA Spec. WAY better.

For the navigation, I've heard of others having this issue over the years but not sure of the remedy off the top of my head.

Awww, thanks. I will go with USA Spec. Would it be worth it to go for the bluetooth (updated) model, or with the older version? I really would just like to plug in any kind of media device for music purposes.

And I actually got the disc out today, but of course the disc I was watching on eBay sold last night :/

I see you have an M56. I really wanted one, just a bit out of my price range at the moment. More on par with the speed I am used to. How do you like it?

Love my car.

As for the media, i'd go with iPod hands down and I'm a die hard Android guy...the car is just made for the iPod...it's seamless.

Just get a red/white RCA to Auxillery cord on eBay for 5 bucks. It connects just behind the armrest. I hear Bluetooth audio quality is poor and cuts out sometimes. I do hate plugging in every time though.

Thanks. Didn't even think to do something so simple. Haha.
