Took the M out to the Dragway on Friday night and beat my old time by 4 tenths of a second. I ran a 15.34 at 5600ft altitude and about 68 degrees. The conversion to sea level is a 14.35. Not too shabby. I mixed some 101 trick gas with the 91. I could tell a difference and the performance showed. I went from a 15.7 to a best of 15.34. I just need to learn to launch. I was just punching it but my reaction times have gotten so much better. I'm coming for your title Caug

Good times. It was so much fun. I beat a Neon SRT4, a Lincoln VIII, souped up foxbody Mustang, Camero SS, and a Charger R/T. I think they were all pretty suprised.

There's no greater satisfaction then beating someone in a luxury car.

I’m impressed! The only problem I have is the bitter taste you probably left in the mouths of those SS,R/T, Mustang drivers, so now when they see my garage queen pull up next to them........... I may get some attitude based on the A$$ kicking you dished out. Good numbers, especially in the altitude.

edit:

was this in ABQ or Roswell?

ABQ, Friday night.

I don't know the exact altitude, but I have gotten 2 numbers, 5400 and 5600.

There was an AMG Kompressor v8 supercharged out there running mid 12's. Beastly, but it better be for 100g's.

I need to get me a car with boost and park my baby in the garage.

Only 92mph?? Seems a bit slow for the car. I ran a 14.5 @ 97mph w/ my 3.0L Maxima and bolt-ons and it was nowhere near 340chp.

Are you saying I used race gas and it gave me 3.1s? That run was on plain ol' 91 BP. I'm not questioning the ET but rather the trap.

Come race at 5400ft above sea level, then we will talk about your 1/4 and trap times. Your Maxima would run mid to high 15's here.

I'd love to come watch that and participate. Too bad I'll be in Durango for the weekend. Let me know if you ever want to come down to ABQ, heck I might even come up to Pueblo..

Heck yea that would be awesome-either way! I usually have a pretty short leash, but the wife and I may take a trip and cruise through your home town mid-summer. Who knows...

I am doing some R&D runs for some bolt-ons I will be attacking later this year on the M.

I can vouch for the mph on your run as I actually had some runs on my Legend with the turbo. I actually pulled a 91mph run @ 16.3...not really sure what happened. 91mph is usually a mid 14 sec car up here. Weird that my time and mph were soooo far off. I fixed it on the dyno, but never got to see what the car would do at the track.

Have fun in Durango! Kyle

Maybe back then but it's since had a little surgery
