Hi, Just had my car serviced. I flushed the ATF and they used the Nissan Matic-S in it. Upon my inquiry they told me that the Matic-S just got released and it now supersedes the Matic-J ...

This was unexpected what you think guys ?

Dealer? Drain and refill, or mechanical exchange?

TEchnically, a flush or a FLUSH is a chemical treatment done prior to the mechanical exchange of the ATF.

Flush is used ambigously, so many members don't know or understand the difference between drain and refill, mechanical ATF exchange, and chemical flush with an ATF mechanical exchange.

Many members, unfortunately.
