New aquisition

Hey guys hope this is the right spot to post,

Test fitted these wheels on my car today and they sit nice so I decided to buy them. I should have tyres (thats how we spell it in Australia) fitted to them by the end of the week and then they go on the car for some pics!

This is what they look like

Im looking at running 225/40's on those wheels would there be a better profile to use?

Any suggestions on how much i should drop the ride height?

Maybe a little wider wheel and lower offsets, but then again I can't say much. I bet they'll look sweet. Definitely get some pics up when done!

I wouldn't spend the money on those. And wait for something better.

how low depends on your fitment and vehicle.

Im sick of my pie pans:P. These are the best ive seen for a while (i think) so ill give them a go. Worst case scenario i can bolt them up to my 180 but that will just look whack!

i found about these wheels a while ago and they're pretty cool. definitely rare and nos is a plus.

the sizes do suck (probably to the point i wouldn't buy them, but that's just because i don't like them THAT much). being into older and rarer wheels i have bought wheel that had lame sizing. being picky about sizes isn't always an option if you're not looking at common/catalog wheels.

tire size sounds fine and the drop answer is the same as always: as low as possible.

got them bolted on to the car yesterday. actually look pretty good on the car. All positive remarks from the guys at work about them. Will chuck up some pics for you lot.
