Hi everyone I just took delivery on a new Altima 2.5SL with connectionpackage and am enjoying the car and the forum a lot.I saw some questions on how to get Sirius for the Altima which as youknow comes with XM on the BOSE radio. XM and Sirius aremerging and this should be completed by the end of the year. I was told byXM customer service that you won't have to do anything equipment wise. Once the merger is complete they will combine the channels somehow. Watch the XM and Sirius webpages for details. Enjoy!

This is good news, I have been a Sirius subscriber for 3 years now, I would love not to have to use my Sportster in the car anymore, although I have to say the aux connection works really well with the Sportster 4 and BOSE system...well, that is to say as well as its going to work with the adequate yet lacking BOSE sound...anyway, I'd like to take that little button (antenna) off the top anyway...I have it routed under the steering column up inside the A pillar under the visor and through the sunroof, its not that noticeable except for the sportster 4 in the "ashtray" and the power connection....cool beans!
