Just got back picking up some parts from SPL and I spied these...

They are VERY nice. The colored rod is more than 1" thick, and the rod ends now have seals for those concerned with longevity.

And!

You'll notice the two screws on the side of the tension rod. That is for the brake cooling air guide they are releasing soon! Kuah showed me the fitment on his Z32 and the guides certainly will improve brake cooling for such a small investment.

Taken from the site:

Adjustable front tension rods allow adjustment of front caster and provides more steering response and feedback.

New version! Larger and stronger, and now featuring tough chromoly rod ends, Seals-It rod end seals (longer lasting than dust boots and replaceable without removing the rod end, which would require a realignment), and optional aluminum brake deflector guides that mount directly to the tension rods.

Main rod also available anodized black, blue or red!

Construction:- Anodized 32mm billet T-6061 aluminum main rod, spacers- Chrome plated steel buckle, jam nuts- 3/4" (~19mm) 2-piece teflon-lined chromoly rod end 21,400lb static load rating- Seals-It rod end seals

Give Kuah a call and order a set! 1-866-SPL-PART

Those look very nice (and quite strong). The rod end seals are a nice touch and the brake air guides sound like an excellent idea. SPL continues to make nice innovative parts for the S chassis cars. Good work kuah!

There is an option to upgrade from v1 to v2 for $99 if you want, call Kuah.
