New amp install now high pitch whine,

i put in a new amp to my door speakers and i turned it on and there is a high pitch whine thats louder than the music. also the quality was just horrible. i was wondering what i did wrong. the groud may have been it and im going to try and reground but anyone else ever have this issue that could help?

Yes definately check the ground and use several screws if possible. Also, make sure your speaker wires are nowhere near your 12v amp cable. Also, your amp may be turned too high up.

What he said, best place to ground it is to the frame of the car,

scratch the paint off for a good connection.

ill check that and let you know. but is it ok to run the remote wire to the same one powering my subs?

If your amp is in the rear area, I ended up sanding down a bolt under the rear passenger seat and screwing my wire right onto that, I had no issues for 4 years.

mines under the driver seat because its for my door speakers so its less noticable there. i was thinking of grounding it under the door cill. hopfully it will ground well there. i dont think i can out the amp umder the seat becuse the second battery and sub amp are grounded there and i doubt it will close.

dont let your power cords and rca cables run on the same side...separate as far as possible...you can simply just have low quality cables

I think the cables might be it. I went cheep on the rcas. From walmart. Ik ik but i learned my mistake lol. And power and rcas are on diffrent sides.
