Ended up swapping the LEDs with the stock courtesy lights instead of the plate lights thanks to B easy talking some sense into me. Push that .08 a little too often to give em a reason to pull me over. Considering putting them in the interior lights too just don't know how much it kills visibility. If i drop something will I be able to find it? (my main concern) Working on a super tight budget at the moment, Ill eventually get some wheels and a grill but for new lets keep it cheap! what can i do to temporarily spruce up the coupe with say a 1k budget....tints getting put on next week, carbon fiber vinyl? considering painting the chrome around the grill, maybe remove or paint the emblems. I was thinking remove the altima and 2.5 emblem and painting the nissan red to match the lights (deff not tinting the lights)...thoughts?
I also have a 2.5.. and if you have a manual I deffo suggest a K&N intake, makes it sound amazing for cheap. I got mine used for like $120 and makes my AC sound sick. Get a drop, its needed... I need to drop mine as well, but after everything I've spent so far on it, its hard to fork out another $500 without cringing at my bank statement. Tint is great, idk about NJ but in MD the law is 35%..... thats what i got.... dont do it, go lower. I wish i went 28% or 25% but the tint guy told me to be careful because there are 2 cop cars in my county who specifically go around pulling people over for tint and i got scared

... I've not seen these cops but i have seen dozens of what looks to be 10% tint cars out there so yeah.
Honestly, I would debadge the rear completely. especially if you have "2.5" on the back. Lets be honest, "2.5" isnt going to appeal to anyone lol. Not to mention, most people have no idea what kind of car I'm even driving from the rear when its debadged, I personally love the mysterious side to it. Sound can always be improved, and when you do it yourself it gets a hell of alot cheaper.
Another personal opinion, which forums are always full of, don't do colored interior lights. They look tacky and ricer. Get some fresh pure white LED's.. It gives your car a luxurious look to it, if you go blue it drops from luxury to ricer.
