Been lurking on this forum a few weeks and seen some dope looking cars sooo...I just got myself a 2010 altima coupe, the 2.5, black...Getting tints put on this week and just ordered blue led lights for the license plate...I don't really dig them for the interior, maybe just the courtesy lights on the door. I have a few bills to spend on the car and just want some suggestions. Im going to hold off on the wheels bc i live in Jersey and wouldn't keep em on in the winter anyway. Any suggested add ons/links/pics would be greatly appreciated. Had a straight beater before this whip so trying to get it looking dope. :dblthumb:

Where in Jersey? (for stalking purposes)

My suggestion; lower the damn car! either on coils or springs. Then Intake + Exhaust.

essex county, like 20 mins from nyc...yes, deff want to lower it just dk how much itll cost me. bose audio system is fine for the time being, may eventually grab a bs bass booster but need trunk room for the snowboard :p. Also grabbed some red caliper paint, should be here sometime this week. Unsure if i made the wrong choice going blue with the license led's just bc i dont want it to clash with the rear lights (which may get tinted at some point)....you sir need to tint them lights wit them blacked out wheels.

2 totally different parts.

Lip: Made by Stillen.
Grille: Made by C-Mod.

This is a full front fascia for the 2008-2009 models. I don't think you can buy the grille separately, even if you could buy it.. it won't fit your car since it's a 2012 model.

New Joisy!?!?!

Just a little piece of advice, dont use blue LEDs living where we live. You WILL be pulled over and you WILL be ticketed. Ask SanoSuke, he has been paying police pensions for months now.

As for other suggestions, what are you going for? Performance? Looking pretty?
Wheels arent a big deal, I ride my summer wheels March through December and stocks December through March.

love the grill Bricci, B easy i feel you with the blue LEDs, it did cross my mind, i tried to get em not too bright but i guess will have to see, they are cheap and easy to swap out so ill see what they look like when they come in. And im just trying to get it looking pretty really, if i wanted performance i would have dropped a few more grand and got the 3.5 as a base

If your front end isn't nicked up with paint chips, I'd say take it to a good detailer and have them put down some paint sealant.

I've been visiting the gt-r forums and a few memberss have done that to help protect their car's crap Nissan paint... And that's the first thing I'm going to do when I get another car, especially if its a Nissan. My 07's front end looks like shat, and I've been pretty good about taking care of it (e.g. washing & waxing) since I bought it new.

I live in Fairfield...

Ended up swapping the LEDs with the stock courtesy lights instead of the plate lights thanks to B easy talking some sense into me. Push that .08 a little too often to give em a reason to pull me over. Considering putting them in the interior lights too just don't know how much it kills visibility. If i drop something will I be able to find it? (my main concern) Working on a super tight budget at the moment, Ill eventually get some wheels and a grill but for new lets keep it cheap! what can i do to temporarily spruce up the coupe with say a 1k budget....tints getting put on next week, carbon fiber vinyl? considering painting the chrome around the grill, maybe remove or paint the emblems. I was thinking remove the altima and 2.5 emblem and painting the nissan red to match the lights (deff not tinting the lights)...thoughts?

You can get this done rather inexpensively, I did my chrome mustache and both front burger Nissan emblem in the grille and rear burger NIssan emblem to match the Nissan K50 Dark Slate. I bought rattle cans from automotivetouchup.com and had it done in a two days with drying times and such. Just have to be patient with it.

What color is the car by the way?

I also have a 2.5.. and if you have a manual I deffo suggest a K&N intake, makes it sound amazing for cheap. I got mine used for like $120 and makes my AC sound sick. Get a drop, its needed... I need to drop mine as well, but after everything I've spent so far on it, its hard to fork out another $500 without cringing at my bank statement. Tint is great, idk about NJ but in MD the law is 35%..... thats what i got.... dont do it, go lower. I wish i went 28% or 25% but the tint guy told me to be careful because there are 2 cop cars in my county who specifically go around pulling people over for tint and i got scared :ohno: ... I've not seen these cops but i have seen dozens of what looks to be 10% tint cars out there so yeah.

Honestly, I would debadge the rear completely. especially if you have "2.5" on the back. Lets be honest, "2.5" isnt going to appeal to anyone lol. Not to mention, most people have no idea what kind of car I'm even driving from the rear when its debadged, I personally love the mysterious side to it. Sound can always be improved, and when you do it yourself it gets a hell of alot cheaper.

Another personal opinion, which forums are always full of, don't do colored interior lights. They look tacky and ricer. Get some fresh pure white LED's.. It gives your car a luxurious look to it, if you go blue it drops from luxury to ricer.

You can if you know how to Vinyl wrap.. I'm a fan of the chrome on the car since it fits my setup so I won't voice any opinions on that lol

debadged it, threw in the blue LED courtesy lights, painted the calipers red, and bought some plasti dip for the chrome around the grille. Figured instead of trying to vinyl wrap it (which i have no experience doing) ill pop it off and pasti dip it. Raining like crazy today so didnt get around to it but ima post pics of all ive done thus far (not that its anything crazy) but why not keep a log. It'd deff be cool 6-12 months and 2k deeper into things to look back :chuckle:
