Hello everyone, This is my first post on these forums. My wife and I are in the market for a new car and we are leaning toward an Altima coupe. We are thinking about the 2.5 because the 3.5 uses premium gas, and now day I don't like the thought of that. Although I do like the options the 3.5 comes with, like the standard moonroof and the LED side mirrors. My question to everyone is... How do you like your coupe? Is there anything you regret about getting/not getting? What is it that you don't like about your car? Thanks guys. I have to do a lot of planning before buying a new car!!

I have a fully loaded 3.5SE and I love every little bit of it. On the highway I get 30MPG with cruise control and 40psi tire pressure. I could be picky and say that the trunk is a little on the cramped side but I removed my spare tire and all the styrofoam stuff in there and now its like a normal sized trunk lol! Love my car!

tell me about it. i went to buy a chair for the home and i couldn't fit the box inside the car. so i had to open it up and place each piece in a different part of the car.

i miss my jeep because of the space but i couldn't keep both of them. this car is perfect for me in this point of my life where i must be so many places in one day its ridiculus. college, work, family, entertainment, etc. they're all at least 30 mi. away.

so something light, small, fuel efficient, something that doesn't break down every few days (like my jeep), that could get me to point a to b and enough torque to satisfy me is what i had in mind and i sure as hell got it from this car.

just for a heads up. get the v6, i feel as though that would be somethin you would regret not having,

as for my thoughts on the a/c its a terrific car, the trunk is cramped....actually to describe it better " downright Small".

i recommend the 6 speed also, although the cvt performs flawlessly it is always nice to have something like a 6 speed to bring you back to the pure essence of driving.

the technology package is excellent, most people will say just buy an aftermarket sat/nav but i think the sat/nav is excellent, also the rear view camera has spoiled me, every car should have one, and the bose 9 speaker system.. simply superb

as for the VDC this is the one thing i wished my car had, not because i feel that i need it, but only because if i did have it i could say my car has every option, instead of saying " every option except for VDC"

as for the premium package, go ahead and get it, because there is no reason not to, the leather seats are nice, they are quite comfortable, its no cadillac, but respectably comfortable,

overall i also looked at buying a 08' audi tt, a 06 bmw z4, a 2006 pontiac GTO, a 2008 pontiac g6 gtp, a 2008 mitsu eclipse gt, a 2007 350z, a 2008 honda accord coupe, a 2006 Caddy CTS-V, and a 2004 corvette and overall the nissan altima coupe won.. so thats saying something

Other than the trunk being a little on the small side and the lack of a few after market parts. (which will hopefully come out soon) This is the best car I have ever owned. Get the 3.5 though, the gas isnt that bad. Plus you don't haft to use premium. I use middle grade fuel and it runs beutifully. So what if you do use premium the price difference isnt that big. You maybe spend like an extra $2 a fill up. But you will get alot more enjoyment out of the V6. So good luck with your selection and welcome to Nico.

Go test drive the 2.5Go test drive the 3.5

Get the 3.5 and don't look back !!I have it, and it's great.

I know a lot of us think the trunk is a little small, but I don't have a problem with it. Groceries fit fine in it, and so do my golf clubs.
