they have the new site up.. and yes, this is the third thread and it'll probably be erased but WTF is wrong with them... 27,200 starting MSRP for the 3.5?????? they, they, they've gone mad... in this recession, 3K more??

*nore* went and rechecked... the new website doesn't allow you to start from the real MSRP for the 3.5L under build your own coupe... they start you off with the leather package.. those tricksters

thats crazy!!!

I just built one exactly like my 08 and the total came to $28,250!! I paid $25,400 with those exact same options

I mean, it hasn't improved 3k more.

Remember thats no tech package, no leather package, and no premium package.

OK, the new website is funky.... when you go to build your own coupe... they start you off at 29,600 for the 3,5Sr... there's no other option for the 3.5

but if you start with 3.5SR, you can choose to remove features like leather, etc... and that will frop it down... the new actual MSRP appears to be 27,200 K... but still, as RC said... taht's 3K more than it was for the 08 and 09...

where is that 3K going??? to projector headlights?????? WTF.... phucking phucktards at Nissan..... the new 2010's are gettiong screwed regarding pricing.. I just can't see 3K more for a base A/C...

it sux because its goin to knock out a lot of young guys buying their first car, at the time I was pretty much at my limit of 25k that I could spend.

I just priced an accord coupe with the same options I put on my car...

accord coupe, base, with floor mats, and wheel locks-$30,212

i cant say its a bad thing, value goes up. The last thing we want to see is Nissan drop the car to 15k with all the highschoolers driving it around as their first car.

I'm not, i've made mine too individual to start off with another new car lol Plus if I were to trade my car in, it wouldn't be for another altima, I would most likely upgrade to something else....we are just surprized of the starting price of 3k more than the 08-09s

I just built mine...'10 3.5 CVT prem, tech and leather, all the options except spoiler and it came to $33,610. It would have been cheaper had I gone with 6MT... Looking at all the amenities, I don't see anything different than what I have now.... and I still paid $28,5 What the hells is Nissan thinking?

I'm still wondering what the red interior is going to look like. I'm thinking it's going to be in the neighborhood of the BMW red interior which is more of a wine color.

I think what's going on is at first they are making the price high...so they can get rid of the 09's for cheaper (I just got an email from nissan a day ago telling me of new offers for 09 such as 1500 more off plus 0% financing for 60 months etc)...and in the mean time they will sell it at high prices and whoever wants to buy can and they make that extra money...then later they will lower it and say s*** like get 3000 cash back blah blah..and THEN it will be 'normal' price...

does this make sense or am I a fool :>

I was hoping to buy a 2010...but the price right now is a bit ridiculous....

my tag on my current car expires in nov 2009...if i renew it on my current car, would I have to renew it again when i buy a new car or does it transfer over? I don't want to pay 200 bucks over again :|
