I just installed the akibono kit but my rims just BARELY touch the caliper. The wheels will spin but they just touch just enough to rub. Anyone know the best spacers to get I only need 3mm!!!! if that. and do you think I will need longer studs? I ordered a hubcentric 3mm spacer off of ebay but usually that stuff is crap. http://www.ebay.com/itm/280864896302?_t ... 668wt_1382

Will I need longer studs with only a 3mm spacer?????

You can fit a 15mm spacer and be fine. The closer your rim is the easier it is to get damaged when removing and mounting the wheels ie at shops that don't care. My specs are 20x8.5+18 right now with 245/35 and I could use a 5mm and still not rub.

Oh yeah on oem studs I think anything under 10 doesn't requier longer studs.

I just put on a cheap garbage 3mm spacer and I can only get 3.5 turns out of the lug nuts. I am going to have to get longer studs. My studs seem really short????? Look at the pics above, my studs are really short with out the wheels. Now I have to find some info on how long the factory studs are and order longer ones. (How much longer???) and figure out how to pull the studs and put in new ones. Any one have any ideas?????

I had to change a couple of studs, i know in order to take them off you will need to remove your caliper and rotor. When you do this you will noice a half moon shape opening wher you align th back of each stud to (align one stud at a time to the half moon opening) after you align a stud take a rupper mallet or whater you choose to hammer it out with. This takes time so be patient and good luck!

After I removed the studs I took them into auto zone and gave them make and model of car and they supplied me with the correct studs so I dont have any info on them but they were extremly cheap like $1.00 each.

I got the kit from concept z performance, was 1795.95 with the powder coating. I guess I could have gone with the ichiba version 2 spacers but I really didnt want a 15mm spacer. I didnt want one at all. but I guess now I am going to have to have this 3mm spacer. I ordered longer studs from H&R, and the 3mm spacers from ebay already so hopefully they work. I already have the car in pieces with the studs out just waiting for parts.

Caliper look good. Why didn't you go with SS lines. That would set those calipers off. Looking good.

I just figured once the rims are on you would never even notice or see the brake lines. I've put SS lines on before and didn't notice a difference and OEM's are a pain to remove so I just said screw it. But ya they would have looked nicer for sure. oh well.

I meant to put v2 my bad I just meant to post the link of ichiba to help out. I agree with the op once the wheels are on you can't even see the lines. Def post pics once you button it all up.
