Basically, I joined because some hilarities ensued from a guy deciding to post pictures of other peoples cars and passing them off as his own to sell. It made its way onto another Nissan forum I am on and I laughed...a lot....
So, I decided to rejoin as I think I was a member a very long time ago. Some basic info about me: I work for a utility company in the mobile IT department, I am married with a baby boy on the way. He will be here next month. I own a 2011 Nissan Titan Pro4X that is stock minus a Rough Country leveling kit and an AEM CAI. My wife's vehicle is a stock 2007 Nissan Xterra that is paid for! Hellz yeah! Now the toy, it is nothing special, but it is my second one and I have owned her for going on 7 years this year. It is a 1989 HCR-32. I have been through hell and back with this car, and I am currently about to yank the motor that finally decided to burn up two cylinder's rings. The stock intake manifold will not hold 400 rwhp and 20 psi..ha! My fault, not the car. It was one of those see how far stock can go before boom, but I hit boom before I stopped.
Modifications are:
Bosch 044 in tank pump
Nismo AFPR
440 cc GTR inj
T3/T04E Turbonetics journal bearing turbo (laaaag)
Egay exhaust manifold (on car when I bought it, too lazy to change it)
Tial 38 mm wastegate
Custom 3 inch down pipe, full 3 inch exhaust back with de cat pipe to a 4 inch muffler
Greddy Boost controller
Greddy bov
Power FC D-Jetro (yes, no MAF, with an RB26 IAT and MAP)
JGY lightened flywheel
XTD stage 3 clutch
Spearco front mount
Yellow Jacket coils
Tomei PonCams 256/256
Early 2012 I had the original ecu with Nistune go out. Replaced with the power fc and fuel pump and coil packs. Got it out after a month, and a week later it got rear ended pretty bad. Wrinkled the rear 1/4 panel, pushed in the left rear nearly 4 inches. I was devastated. The body shop I took it to does custom body work to old muscle cars. They saved the rear 1/4. I have a 3 inch by 6 inch spot of body filler on the rear 1/4 and that is it. Same decklid, same 1/4, same trunk floor....I was impressed, but it was expensive. At that time, since the original 89 paint got damaged, I under went a respray using the paint code from my Titan. It was silver, but now a dark charcoal metallic.

Finished product:

6 days after I got it back from the body shop, cylinders 1 and 6 decided to lose compression and that is where I am today. Plans of rebuild with forged internals and new intake manifold are on top of the list as well as head work. Before she popped, she made 390 rwhp @ 20 psi.
Hope to be a part of the community here and make some new e-friends. Thanks for viewing.
